What are the small vessels where blood exchanges various materials with cells?

The human circulatory system consists of arteries, veins, and capillaries. The capillaries are the thin-walled vessels that connect arteries and veins and allow for the exchange of materials between blood and tissue fluid.

Which materials are exchange between the blood and the body cells?

capillaries

What vessels exchange materials with the extra cellular fluid and the blood?

Capillaries. Since they are only once endothelial cell thick, they can exchange gas, nutrients, and waste across their membrane. Capillaries in the brain have endothelial cells close together to onyl allow a slecetive exchange of materials, while capillaries in the kidney or liver have gaps between the endothelial cells to allow the exchange of a lot of materials.

What most important thing happens in the capillaries?

materials exchange between blood cells and blood

Does arteries allow for the exchange of gases between the blood and body cells?

capillaries

What blood vessels allow the exchange of substances between the blood and the cells of the body?

Capillaries via osmosis

What are the thin walled blood vessels that allow the exchange of gases and nutrients between the blood and cells?

Capillaries - The endometrium (epithelial lining/wall) of the capillaries is only one cell thick optimizing diffusion/osmosis between it and the tissue cells of the body

One process by which materials are exchanged between the blood and the blood cell is?

Diffusion

Why do the walls of the capillaries and aveoli need to be thin?

The walls of alveoli are thin to allow the exchange of gases (Co2 and O2) between blood capillaries and the aveoli in the lungs.
