When you inhale in the lungs the air goes into little sacks called alveoli. In the alveoli gaseous exchange occurs this is when the carbon dioxide from the capillaries is exchanged for the oxygen you inhaled. When in the capillaries the red blood cells absorbs the oxygen and transports it around the body until all the oxygen is absorbed by the body it is then brought backed to the lungs where gaseous exchange occurs again.

Oxygen enters the body through the respiratory system by inhaling air into the lungs. In the lungs, oxygen is transferred to red blood cells, which then carry it through the bloodstream to all the cells in the body. At the cellular level, oxygen is used in the process of cellular respiration to produce energy.

How does a daughter cell compare to the parent cell after undergoing mitosis?

A daughter cell and its parent cell are exact copies of each other.

Why is a tiny cell more efficient than a large cell?

A smaller cell has a higher surface area-to-volume ratio, allowing for faster exchange of nutrients and waste compared to a larger cell. This efficiency enables the cell to efficiently carry out necessary functions such as nutrient uptake, waste removal, and energy production. Additionally, smaller cells have less distance for molecules to travel within the cell, reducing the time needed for reactions to occur.

How is the sycamore seed suited to its method of dispersal?

The sycamore seed is aerodynamically designed with a wing-like structure that allows it to be carried by the wind over long distances. This adaptation increases the chances of the seed landing in a suitable environment for germination and growth, aiding in its dispersal away from the parent tree.

How is the use of bio-pesticide beneficial over chemical pesticide?

Bio-pesticides are beneficial over chemical pesticides because they are typically less harmful to the environment, non-toxic to humans and other non-target organisms, and have lower chances of causing resistance in pests. They also tend to break down faster, reducing the risk of residue buildup in the environment.
