The loss of a species of animals could greatly effect the environment. For instance, if wolves go extinct, they cannot eat deer, so the deer flourish and there is a grass shortage. Because of so many deer, the deer would also go extinct there would also be a loss in everything because if one animal gets whiped out the food chain will mess up and in the end we might all die
Think about the food chain when answering this question the answer is simple.
so when the plants die all life would slowly die after from starvation and lack of food
Every species in an ecosystem is intimately related with some other species of plants or animals for its survival and perpetuation. If any species of a ecosystem is lost that link of survival also get lost. Thus, the whole ecosystem get affected.
* Fish, like carp, that eat algae will have more food.
* Other water plants might have less light to help them grow.
*Some algae produce toxins, so the water could be poisoned.
supposed all the plants in a pond died
That would be a community. A population is a group of a single species in a particular area. There would be many different population in the pond.
water quality would be worse
Cause animals bacteria need it
Pond weed is a part of pond ecosystem hence it works as primary producer
the factors of a pond ecosystem is the abiotic and biotic factors
The pond would become acidic and have less ability to support organisms
Newts (various species).
Some of the limiting factors that would affect dragonflies would be climate, rain, temperature, and other species in the environment. Species that ate the dragonflies would have the largest effect.
Almost any animal species you introduce into a community will affect it. However, what the effect will be and how dramatic, is highly dependent on what it is you introduce. For example, if you were to introduce a predator fish into your pond community, it would greatly reduce the population of smaller fish and subsequently increase the population of the small fish's prey. This could to a number of things, from ruining the living conditions for all other species or perhaps make more food available for another species to thrive.
They're called Pond Snakes
Some pond skater species have wings other don't. Of those that do some show a wing length polymorphism that affects their flight ability.
That depends on the species and size of the fish and the pond it came from.
I would assume clear because it has easier access to light. The species of plant might also affect it.
The population of all organisms in the pond will decrease.
Pond skater or water striders belong to the Gerridae family, with 500 species. A common European species is Gerris remigis.
Because the population of organisms is pond effect
Goldfish, Koi, and lots of other coldwater species, but not some so be careful. any kind to be exact it just depends on the pond
