If all the trees on the planet were to die or be cut down, the human race would die. Plants provide a large percentage of the oxygen on earth through photosynthesis. Without trees and other plants, humans and animals could not survive.

Even if humans somehow managed to survive, trees provide us with fruits, nuts, wood and paper. Trees are also home to many animals. If we didn't have trees we would be mising a lot of things we take for granted.

No. Trees provide us with oxygen. It's a complicated process called photosynthesis. What we breathe out, we can't breathe back in. (That is called carbon dioxide). Plants breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. We breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide, starting the process all over again.

Humans breathe oxygen in and co2 out - plants makes co2 back to oxygen. Trees are most effecient in this process and are getting better at it the older they get.

So in a world without trees we would suffucate. Because trees bind co2 to the ground they slow down global warming so that the earth warm up slower Trees also have a negative effect on wind so in a world without trees it will be ekstremly windy and all weather-types will be more strong and unplesant Trees usually have deeper roots than other plants and in that way hold on to the ground when it is raining ekstremly much so the soil wont be washed away trees also is a nessesary habitat for a diversity of small insects, animals, fungi and bacterias that is a biological bank for future cures of deseases -Luise
