I remember by identifying the head as the part that connects to a vertebra, then make sure that the coastal groove is down. I am then able to identify if it is the right or left. Hope that helps...

I looked it up and it appears to be that your stomach is on the left side, as well as your spleen. If you are talking about right in front it is your stomach, near the back or on your side is the spleen. But I'm reading this from a website so don't belive me a hundred percent.
