A water molecule falls on a chlorophyl molecule in a leaf. The Oxygen lies holding its two hydrogen atoms apart. A photon of light hits the electron holding one of the hydrogen atoms to the oxygen atom and it lets go. The chlorophyl molecule passes that hydrogen atom to another molecule. Then another photon of light hits the electron holding the other hydrogen atom to the oxygen atom and it lets go and the chlorophyl molecule passes that hydrogen atom to yet another molecule. At that point the chlorophyl molecule lets go of the oxygen atom. It meets up with an oxygen atom from another chlorophyl molecule. The two get together and leave the leaf.
Plants produce oxygen when exposed to light. They do this by the process of photosynthesis. The oxygen comes from the splitting of water molecules to produce hydrogen ions and the oxygen is expelled as a waste product.
Plants give off oxygen gas in the light.
In general outline, photosynthesis is the opposite of cellular respiration. CO2+ H2O+sunlight ----> O2 + H2O +carbohydrates. It uses carbon dioxide and the energy from sunlight to make carbohydrates and oxygen (a waste product from plants).
The waste gas released by green plants during photosynthesis is oxygen, which is crucial for the survival of most living organisms, including humans. We rely on plants to produce oxygen through photosynthesis, which we breathe in to support our respiration and overall metabolic processes.
Yes, plants produce oxygen as a byproduct of photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and water and convert it into glucose and oxygen with the help of sunlight. This oxygen is released into the atmosphere and is essential for human respiration.
plants give us oxygen
plants give us oxygen and take carbondioxide
They give us oxygen, and help us to stay alive without plants we wouldnt be alive
plant give us air or oxygen in scientific called
The oxygen that plants give us and our lungs
plants give us oxygen and are a great source of nutrients
They both give us oxygen.
we need water to survive like plants do. they give us oxygen we give them carbon dioxide.
Yes. The sun makes plants have photosynthesis and grow, then those plants give off oxegyn while taking in carbon dioxide.
Plants give us oxygen we give them carbon dioxide.
Plants are used for many things, including oxygen, food, medicine, and clothing. Shelter, oil, gas, wood, building materials, and water are also things that plants give the world.
plants grow because plants and tress give oxygen for us so we can breath.
