cardiac is uni/binucleate, has intercalated discs, and is has branching fibers, skeletal is multinucleate and is long and cylindrically shaped.
Skeletal muscle is found in the arms and legs and also other parts of your body. For skeletal muscle to contract it needs to be independly stimulated by a nerve ending. Cardiac muscle is a involantry muscle within the heart which automaticly contracts because of its self- excitable cells. It is a muscle which does NOT produce lactic acide ( normally) and it does not need a nerve to stimulate it to contract

What are the key differences between skeletal and cardiac muscle in terms of their structure and function?

Skeletal muscles are attached to bones and help with movement, while cardiac muscles are found in the heart and help pump blood. Structurally, skeletal muscles have long, cylindrical fibers with multiple nuclei, while cardiac muscles have branching fibers with a single nucleus. Functionally, skeletal muscles are under voluntary control, while cardiac muscles contract involuntarily.

Give examples of three types of muscles?

Skeletal muscle: Found attached to bones and responsible for voluntary movement. Cardiac muscle: Found in the heart and responsible for pumping blood throughout the body. Smooth muscle: Found in the walls of internal organs and blood vessels, responsible for involuntary movements like peristalsis.

What are the 3 main muscle systems in the human body?

The three main muscle systems in the human body are skeletal muscles, smooth muscles, and cardiac muscles. Skeletal muscles are attached to bones and help with movement, smooth muscles are found in organs and blood vessels, and cardiac muscles are specific to the heart.

What type of muscles are striation found in?

Striations are commonly found in skeletal muscles, which are the muscles responsible for voluntary movement. Smooth muscles, found in organs like the intestines and blood vessels, do not typically have striations.

What is the distinguish between involuntary muscle cardiac muscle skeletal muscle and voluntary muscle?

Cardiac muscles are involuntary. Cardiac muscles are what makes the heart pump. Cardiac muscles are only in your heart. If those muscles were voluntary, organisms would most likely die. Skeletal muscles are voluntary. You can move any part of your body freely with these muscles, unless you are paralized in which your skeletal muscles are damaged, the nerve cells from those muscles to the spine are damaged, or the spine itself is damaged. Skeletal muscles are found in all of the body. In an average person, skeletal muscles make up 40% of body weight. So:: Cardiac muscles are INVOLUNTATY Skeletal muscles are VOLUNTARY
