Urbanisation will cause greenery to be lost. Urbanisation involves the process of buildings new buildings and infrastructure, and trees and grasslands will have too be chopped down and removed to make space for the new buildings. In this case, the natural environment is lost. Sometimes, construction will cause sand and dirt to circulate in the air, creating air pollution, while pollutants from construction sites may enter water bodies and cause water pollution. Even though some cities may try to restore its former greenery, it can never be compared to the previous natural landscape. Animal life will also be greatly affected due to habitat loss.

Well, that is a good question. There are several ways, that cities affect Earth's climate. 1.) POLLUTION-Smog from industrial factories, pollute the air and make the air quality unsafe and unhealthy, for people that live in certain areas of the United States of America. 2.) CARBON TRANSMISSIONS-Well, carbon monoxide comes out of the litlte pipe thingamajig, that is located on the very end of automobiles, and that carbon monoxide, pollutes the air, and make the air quality unsafe and unhealthy, for people that live in certain areas of the United States of America. There are over hundreds of different things, that make cities affect Earth's climate, put I only posted two (2) things, on this message window.

There are so many ways a city affects the local ecosystem.

Deforestation or land clearing for new homes or city areas: This dislocates all organisms in the area and changes the landscape.

Pollution from many sources: Cars, buildings, machines etc. all add to pollution and change the air of the area. Detergents, cleaners, oil, etc. contaminate groundwater. This affects the biodiversity of the area.

Littering adds new items to the area. All aspects of the city change an ecosystem. Animals have to move because their habitat's are destroyed. Plants are killed off due to changes in the ecosystem or harvesting of plants.

Anything a human does, changes the ecosystem.

City growth is a problem to the natural environment because it

1.Takes up so much space.

2. There is no way to keep a whole city completely green so there will always be pollution and it is almost impossible for the wildlife to live freely and safely in a city, animals need space.
