I broke my metacarpal bone(4th) at the bases of the wrist. I got my hand caught in an automatic door. The pain is instant and swelling was unbelievable. I did this weekend of Halloween and wore a cast to my elbow for six weeks. I still have a considerable amount of pain where the break occurred. Not a good bones to break!
