I bruised my tailbone for sitting on a wooden bench for extended periods of time. It hurts so bad I have trouble sitting or even bending down to pick things up.I'm not really sure if it is bruised or what, but my tailbone hurts really bad and I doubt it is broken since I didn't have a fall.

∙ 11y agoI bruised my left knee when I was taking my dog for a ride on my bike. She pulled when I tried to stop with the front brake and I flipped over the handlebars and landed mainly on my knee on concrete sidewalk with no pads. I only had three stiches and had x-rays and mri and doctors said I only suffered a contusion (bruise). Eleven months and a lot of pain later I still have pain acending or decending stairs and still can't get on my knees without pain and docs also said no water on knee. I just thought I would let you know what you're in for since I could never get an estimate from any doctor on how long it would take to heal. Good luck.
