2. Feeling the need to urinate frequently but when you try, it is painful or burns and little urine is passed.

3. A fever.

You should see a doctor if you have these symptoms. You may need to give a urine specimen to identify the cause of the infection. UTIs are usually easily treated with anti-biotics.

Drinking cranberry juice is known to help prevent urinary tract infections.

I am a RN. Urinary infection u can run fever as high as 101,burning when peeing, pain in your lower back, and feeling like u have 2 pee but can't. U can sit in a warm bath and add salt to the water helps, drink plenty of fluids canberry juice helps, u can get over the counter med like AZO or uristat. But, u will need 2 c a doctor 2 get antibotics to clear up the infection.
