All these things (and these are only a select few examples) are evidence of an increase in the biochemical processes of the body, which is the same as an increase in body metabolism.

Why are you always hungry on levothyroxine?
It's hard to answer this question without maybe knowing why you are on levothyroxine, because personally, I'm not always hungry because of it. Maybe you're using it for an under active thyroid? In this case I would imagine you'd be feeling a difference because of the drug acting to speed up your metabolism, as prior to you taking it you would have had a sluggish metabolism. (that's my best guess)
