If you give excessive fluid to human, his kidney will excreate the extra water. But kidney can not excreate the plane water. It is going to wash 'some' salt along with the urine. So this causes hyponatremia.

How many water compartment are i n the human body?

Every cell in your body holds water. There is actually a case a few years ago of an 8 year old girl dying because her parents forced her to drink too much water as a punishment for drinking Kool-Aid without permission. When you drink water at a rate that is higher than your body can expel through urine and sweat, then the fluid can accumulate and cause hyponatremia where your blood has a very low sodium content. This will cause your brain to swell and malfunction, even to the point of death.
