The first time you try it should be 4 hours for a week, then next week try on 8 hours and after you are used to it, try for 12 hours. That is the average time you leave your contacts in your eyes.

Most people who require vision correction can wear contacts, as long as they have a prescription from an eye doctor and do not have certain eye conditions that may prevent them from safely wearing contacts. It is important to consult with an eye care professional to determine if contacts are a suitable option for you.
Eye doctors do say it is okay to wear contacts even with eye conditions as long as you do not have dry eyes or severe irritation of the eye. They do suggest you stop wearing contacts at about a week before or after Cataract surgery.
If a chemical gets into the eyes, the eyes should be rinsed continuously with clean water for at least 15-20 minutes. This helps to flush out the chemical and prevent further damage to the eyes. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical attention.
Well first I need to know if you wear contacts while you sleep or not. If you don't please call your doctor. If you do, continue reading..... First off. Take the contact out right away. Wear glasses for a few days, and get enough sleep. That should solve your problems. Also your contacts may be old so see about getting a new pair. Or maybe your floid that you wash them with doesn't moisturize them enough. But the most likely reasons is that you are: A. Wearing them for too long everyday B. Not getting enough sleep. To fix this. Take a few days break from contacts, and get more sleep. If you don't your eye could get infected and you may need to take a month break!
As long as they can put them in their eyes, anyone can wear contacts.
Actually I have kept my eyes open for about four minutes, but I had contacts in. With out contacts in I can only keep my eyes open for 45 seconds.
Only if you keep them in for too long.
keep it on for at least 5-10 minutes!
you may have left them in too long because if u leave them in for too long when you first get them your eyes aren't used to them yet and they can get red and swollen leave your contacts out for a few days and ease back into wearing them
If he's giving you "the eyes," he probably likes you.
If your contacts dry up because you've worn them too long, and you do this consistently, this might do it.
Depends on what brand, quality and how long you use it. However, if you don't clean the contact lenses right, you might get your eyes infected.
Yes but make sure that the contacts are the right size for you, if the contacts are too small then you can go blind if you where them for too long, if they are too big then you can see your real eyes and the affect will be ruined.

no not as long as you clean it and take it off before you go to sleep unless you buy the ones that you are able to sleep with
I started wearing contacts when I became more active. It's a pain not to see well when you are traveling and contacts are simple. However, I have been wearing them for a year and seeing without them is very different. After using contacts for a long time your eyes will get used to a clear world and not wearing them makes everything look blurry. Your vision probably hasn't changed, you are just not used to it. I wouldn't recomend contacts for first-time glasses users because their eyes are probably already good.
