a black man's brain weighs the same as a white man's brain... an average man's brain weighs 1300g and an average woman's brain weighs 1200g so its the same for everyone regardless of race or color which is usually 2% of your whole body weight

The above is not true. Autopsies of a large sample of blacks and whites shows black brains to be 100grams lighter than white brains. In studies of brain volumes, blacks are shown to have the smallest volumes, and just as important is human brains have more convolutions (folds) than the black brain, meaning human brains have more surface area than black brains. The sources of these facts are very easy to find.

Who was the man whose brain injury sparked new interest in brain research?

Phineas Gage was the man whose brain injury sparked new interest in brain research. He suffered a severe brain injury when an iron rod pierced through his skull, leading to significant changes in his personality and behavior. This case provided valuable insight into the connection between brain function and behavior.

What is the difference between a man's brain and a pig's brain?

The main difference between a man's brain and a pig's brain lies in the complexity and structure of the cerebral cortex, which is more developed in humans. This area of the brain is responsible for higher cognitive functions such as language, memory, and decision making. Additionally, the size ratio of the brain to body weight is larger in humans compared to pigs, reflecting a higher level of cognitive abilities.

How is a pig's brain compared to man's brain?

A pig's brain is smaller and less developed than a human brain in terms of complexity, size, and cerebral cortex folding. However, pigs have been used in neuroscience research due to similarities in brain structure and function, making them valuable models for studying certain aspects of human brain function.

Why does a swimmer can carry a drowning man without much effort?

A swimmer can carry a drowning man without much effort because the human body is naturally buoyant in water. By supporting the person's weight and keeping them afloat, the swimmer can help the drowning individual to safety. Additionally, proper technique and skill in swimming can make the rescue process easier and more efficient.

Was the first man black?

There is no definitive answer to whether the first man was black, as human origins are complex and debated among scientists. The concept of race as we understand it today did not exist in early human populations, and genetic research suggests that all humans share a common ancestry.
