The reason every cell does different things despite having the exact same DNA is that the DNA isn't responsible for deciding what happens, only translating what occurs. Messenger RNA gets the code from the DNA, and that's what determines what proteins get produced in each cell.
Somatic cell.
Somatic cells are body cells which are important part of the body's multicellularity and function. So they should have same DNA code in order to maintain a balance in the functioning of the body. And except sex cells (gamates) all the cells of human body (i.e. somatic cells) have the same DNA code. Another reason for this is mitosis. As body cells arise from mitosis, the division is conservative and doesn't involve any process of inducing variation in the cells, hence all the cells originating from it have the same DNA code.
Another name for body cells is somatic cells.
Of or pertaining to the body as a whole; corporeal; as, somatic death; somatic changes., Of or pertaining to the wall of the body; somatopleuric; parietal; as, the somatic stalk of the yolk sac of an embryo.
The human body contains approximately 37.2 trillion somatic cells.

Somatic cells are body cells that contain a full set of chromosomes. I imagine that a somatic cell donor donates healthy body cells to someone who needs them.
