The DNA sequence of the cell is not supposed to change during mitosis. There are actually "proof reading" and corrective enzymes to check for errors and correct them. However, sometimes a change does occur, and that change is called a mutation. Depending on which gene is affected, a mutation can have no effect or a devastating, life threatening effect, such as cancer.
During Mitosis, the DNA is originally copied, well, just half of the DNA is copied, the mitosis procedure is very long and happens when the cells are in the human bodies when a fetus is forming. The DNA is copied, half from the mother and half from the father. The mitosis procedure is happening during a pregnancy, the whole time, starting from the beginning. The egg/sperm cells are formed from the DNA of both parents so every person is different. I hope this is what you were looking for.
the sequences are prophase,metaphase,anapahse,telopahse
Interphase is not really a resting place. During interphase a cell is undergoing sythesis and mitosis. The chromosomes are copied and cells double in size.
mitosis
In mitosis, the homologous chromosomes dont interact, but in meosis, they separate during Anaphase 1. In mitosis, the homologous chromosomes dont interact, but in meosis, they separate during Anaphase 1.
Strictly speaking, the chromosomes are not copied during mitosis but already before cell division takes place. This phase is called INTERPHASE and is again divided into three phases, G1 (first gap), S (synthesis), and G2 (second gap). The replication of chromosomes only happens in the S phase.
DNA is not copied during mitosis. It is copied in the portion of the cell cycle prior to mitosis during the S phase of interphase and is called DNA Replication.
In Mitosis, the chromosomes duplicate themselves. In Meiosis 1, they duplicate, however they do not duplicate in meiosis 2.
i think its telophase
They contain genetic information and is a form of DNA. It is copied during mitosis and meiosis.
what guides the chromosomes movement during mitosis
Mitosis
DNA makes up with chromosomes. The DNA is copied during DNA replication.
DNA is not copied during mitosis . Mitosis is meant for division of cell and DNA is divided in two daughter cells .
Chromosomes form during Prophase of Mitosis.
Both autosomes and sex chromosomes separate during mitosis./ Somatic chromosomes separate during mitosis with same number as in the parent cell.
All chromosomes are reproduced during mitosis.
Interphase is not really a resting place. During interphase a cell is undergoing sythesis and mitosis. The chromosomes are copied and cells double in size.
