Best Answer

Yes. Plants are organisms, or living things, because they follow the eight things all organisms do:

Consumption of energy: They use sunlight to go through photosynthesis, which make carbohydrates

Energy: Gather energy in order to function

Cells: They have cells, the basic structure of life

Reproduction: Through seeds

Growth: Plants obviously change in size

Development: The changes the accompany growth

Adaption: Such as growing toward the light

Response to changes in environment: Such as leaves on a tree losing color when there is less sun, meaning less energy
