My first question concerns plinth (UK term) or toe kick lighting. This seems very popular in kitchens in the UK, however when searching, I can't find much about it in the US. We would like to use small recessed lights around the perimeter of our island in the toe kick mostly for decorative purposes. Has anyone done this in your kitchen? If so, what source did you use for the lights? I was able to find a lot through UK websites, but we'd prefer to avoid the extra expense associated with ordering from there if possible. I've also found some things that may work in the US such as mini recessed puck lights, but was wondering if there are other options. We've considered rope lighting as well since it's inexpensive, but I really like the look of individual lights. I was thinking approx. 3-4 on each side (long side) of the island, and 2 on the ends. Anyway, any advice would be appreciated - thanks!

No, the toe commonly referred to as the "index toe" is actually the second toe on the foot. The first toe is called the big toe or hallux.
The normal size of a plinth beam is typically between 9 inches to 12 inches in thickness and 9 inches to 12 inches in depth, depending on the structural design requirements and load-bearing capacity needed for the building.
No, the second toe is commonly referred to as the "long toe" or "pointer toe." The term "index toe" is not a widely recognized or anatomically correct term.
The wedding ring toe. Like on the hand how you contain a wedding finger, it occurs to be a toe. This toe is sacred to the patriotism of feet in this nation under god as we type.

"Toe the ball" is a phrase commonly used in sports, specifically in soccer or football. It refers to making contact with the ball using the toe or the front part of the foot. This technique is used to accurately pass or shoot the ball with precision.
A toe ball refers to a type of kick in football (soccer) where the ball is struck using the toe rather than the instep or side of the foot. It is not the most accurate or powerful type of kick, but can be useful for certain situations, such as quick passes or shots on goal from awkward angles.
to kick a soccer ball properly do not use ur toe! kick either with ur laces or with the inside side of ur foot.
in short: plinth is base of structure. it transmit weight of structure to the soil. many times plinth have to deal with external agencies like water, roots of trees, termites, etc this can affects the life of plinth and makes it weaker so its essential to protect plinth from such agencies..therefore PLINTH PROTECTION is necessary.. ......................... abhishek 9404547373
