Best Answer

Yes air is abiotic because it cannot breathe.

Air is abiotic. Abiotic includes anything that is not alive.

**********************************************

Abiotic means somethig different from the above amateur definitions.

The following definition from the first paragraph of Wikipedia Is far more informative. ...

In ecology and Biology, abiotic components (also known as abiotic factors) are non-living chemical and physical factors in the environment, which affect ecosystems. Abiotic phenomena underlie all of biology.

It is unfair for the ignorant to make uneducated and ill informed guesses.

No. Weather itself is not alive so it is not a biotic factor. Weather is an abiotic factor.

No. A biotic factor is a living organism. Air is an abiotic factor. The A in abiotic means "not" and the biotic in abiotic means "living" so put them together you get "Not Living" :) ;)
