photosynthesis is the process during which plants use carbon dioxide (in the presence of sunlight) to produce their food, they then release oxygen for us to breathe. but at night plants use oxygen and release carbon dioxide, hence think twice before having an indoor plant. whether it releases water i'm not sure, can anyone confirm please

What is the byproduct of respiration?

False Co2...carbon dioxide (dont read this if u dont want to) there are different forms of respiration, aerobic respiration= oxygen + glucose -> carbon dioxide+ water (+energy) anaerobic respiration=

Can you turn carbon dioxide into oxygen?

No, carbon dioxide cannot be turned into oxygen. Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of respiration and oxygen is produced during photosynthesis.

What gas is produced by respiration?

Carbon dioxide is produced as a byproduct of cellular respiration in organisms, including humans and animals. During respiration, glucose is broken down in the presence of oxygen to produce energy, water, and carbon dioxide.

Does respiration add carbon dioxide to the air?

Yes, respiration is the process by which organisms release carbon dioxide into the air as a byproduct of breaking down glucose for energy in the presence of oxygen.

Is carbon dioxide waste photosynthesis or respiration?

Carbon dioxide is a waste product of cellular respiration in organisms and is a raw material used in photosynthesis. During respiration, organisms produce carbon dioxide as a byproduct, while during photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide to produce glucose.

Where does the carbon dioxide come from in cellular respiration?

The carbon dioxide in cellular respiration comes from the breakdown of glucose molecules during the process. When glucose is broken down in the presence of oxygen, carbon dioxide is produced as a byproduct.

One of the products of respiration is carbon dioxide?

Yes, carbon dioxide is made when glucose is broken down in the process called celluar respiration.

How does cellular respiration effect carbon dioxide in the atmosphere?

Cellular respiration releases carbon dioxide as a byproduct. This carbon dioxide is then released into the atmosphere. As more organisms undergo cellular respiration, more carbon dioxide is added to the atmosphere, contributing to the greenhouse effect and global warming.

What play the roles in carbon and oxygen cycles?

In the carbon cycle, photosynthesis by plants and algae absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, while respiration by living organisms releases carbon dioxide back. In the oxygen cycle, photosynthesis produces oxygen as a byproduct, which is then used in cellular respiration by organisms to generate energy, releasing carbon dioxide as a byproduct.

Is oxygen a byproduct of respiration?

Oxygen is a product of respiration by plants that contain chlorophyll and consume carbon dioxide. Oxygen is a reactant in respiration by air-breathing animals.

What process do organisms return carbon dioxide to the atmosphere?

Organisms return carbon dioxide to the atmosphere through the process of respiration. During respiration, organisms break down organic molecules to release energy, producing carbon dioxide as a byproduct that is then released into the air.
