DDT is used as an insecticide which kills on contact. It is extremely harmful and was banned in United States since 1972. Before it was banned, it was used to protect crops from insect damage, but it killed too many animals and plants, while insect populations grew more and more resistant to DDT. This led to ban in DDT in many countries.

There are more than two: breast & other cancers, male infertility, miscarriages & low birth weight, developmental delay and nervous system & liver damage. It still remains in the areas that it was used in as it doesn't breakdown for a long time. It's half life is around 10 years. The insects (lice and mosquitoes) that it is supposed to control become resistant. It is still found vegetables, meat, fish, and dairy products since it was banned in 1972.

Can you receive a partial inheritance before death of parent?

No. You have no rights in a parent's property while they are living. An inheritance comes from the property a decedent owns at the time of death. Death makes that property 'inheritable'. There is no such thing as an inheritance from a living person.
