Plant cells can be distinguised by three organelles which animal cells dont have:

  1. Cell wall - Protects and support the cell (some cells)
  2. Chloroplast - Makes food for the plant by traping solar energy to make food
  3. Vacuole - stores food, water and minerals

Plant cells also have plastids which give leaves it's green ( chlorophyll ) colour and fruits and flowers it's different colours like yellow ( Xanthophyll ) and orange ( carotene )

what organelle are present in plant cell that are absent in animal cell?

A difference between animal cells and plant cells is that plant cells have a cell wall and animal cells do not.Large, Central Vacuole Cell Wall Chloroplasts

Animal and plant cell differences?

Animal cells do not have a cell wall or chloroplasts, while plant cells do. Additionally, animal cells may have small vacuoles compared to the large central vacuole in plant cells. Plant cells also have a rectangular shape due to the rigid cell wall, while animal cells are more round or irregular in shape.

1) Plant cells have cell wall which is absent in animal cell. 2) Plant cell lack centrioles whereas animal cells have centrioles.
