Cultures look for bacterial growth. And thus in order for bacteria to grow in a given culture medium LIVE bacteria are needed. Depending on the mechanism for obtaining a sample, and the sample placed in the culture medium (i.e. swab, probe, biopsy, blood, etc.) the probability of obtaining live bacteria varies.
Pus that usually accompanies an infection is composed of dead bacteria within white blood cells. And thus the swab of a skin wound full of pus is UNlikely to yield a positive (defined by bacterial growth in the culture medium) result.
In short live bacteria is needed for a culture to be reported as positive. Not all samples taken for culture contain live bacteria, even in the presence of an infection (it is just the live bacteria are too deep to be accessed by the sampling technique used.
I hope this answers your question.

Biological birth is the physical birth of a person. Social birth could be defined as a coming of age. Coming of age rites or ceremonies may be performed as part of a social birth. The acquisition of documents that make an individual a citizen of a particular country could also be considered a social birth.
The two societies differ in terms of their values and traditions. Luveina's society values independence and individuality, while Tommy's society values conformity and collectivism. This contrast shapes their personal development and challenges their beliefs as they navigate their coming of age experiences.

There is no reason why anyone coming to Australia should deny their own culture and heritage. There is room in Australia for all cultures, as long as everyone respects each other, and also respects the history of Australia's own culture. Problems arise when those of other cultures seek to change Australia's culture, rather than add to it.
A test coming out positive means that the test found whatever it was looking for. A test coming out negative means it didn't find anything. Like a pregnancy test coming out positive means a good chance of the person tested being pregnant. Negative means there are no signs of pregnancy in the tested substance.
Put simply: unbelief.
