My son has the same white bumps on his tongue. Two, one on the tip and one slightly under the tongue. They are quite normal and in most children will go away as they grow. Some do not, but are not harmful. If they continue to grow larger, seek treatment. Unfortunately, I can not remember what the Doctor called them. My son's bumps are about the size of small rice krispies. I was told to monitor them and to seek treatment only if they start to enlarge in size.
