The cell membrane (a ring around the cell that provides protection and in the animal cell's case, shape) controls the movement of materials in and out of the cell, but in the plant cell's case, the cell wall ,which is thicker than the cell membrane and outside of it, does more of the work. It also has canals that allow fluids to move through the plant.
Most DNA Polymerases and RNA polymerases have what is known as "proof-reading activity". This is the ability of the enzymes to check what bases they have added during DNA replication (in the case of DNA Polymerase) or transcription (in the case of RNA Polymerase), and if an error is found, splice it out and replace it with the correct base. The mode of action depends on the enzyme in question - some use endonucleases, and some use exonucleases; some work 5'-3' while others work 3'-5'. Also note that I said MOST polymerases have proof-reading capabilities...there are a few which do not (or don't proof-read very well).
If I am tired and don't want to go to the work, I say" Boss, I am too tired today to come in, Sorry" <><><><><> Of course, the boss might reply, "In that case, I'm too tired to pay you, now or forever, good bye".
Rudolph Virchow was rather interesting scientist. He was a biologist, doctor and pathologist. His work using autopsies is still used today. He was famous for his work with others in the theory of cells, in that cells come from other cells. He described and explained many diseases but he did not agree with Darwin about the evolution of man nor did he agree with the germ theory of disease. He considered social factors such as poverty as major cause of diseases.
