Hi!
There are two process that do these jobs, and they both occur at the cell membrane. Endocytosis is the take in of materials such as food into the cell. There are two types of endocytosis: Phagocytosis and Pinocytosis. Phagocytosis makes the cytoplasm of the cell extend and "surround" the food and packages it into a vacuole. Pinocytosis sets up "traps" along the cell membrane to tract and collect food. Exocytosis is the excretion of waste products out of the cell. Here is how Prentice Hall Biology described it "The membrane of the vacuole surrounding the material fuses with the cell membrane, forcing the contents out of the cell." This is like a counter part of endocytosis, the process by which cells take in materials from outside the cell.
Good Luck
Dang it the heck ... Why doesn't anyone know the answer to the question ... Cause i sure as heck dont know ... Sorry ...!!!
The material must pass through the cell membrane
Doing a take home study guide right now with the same question. The answer is Channel Proteins.

The Exceretory System
Plant cells do not exactly get rid of wastes but instead will use the central vacuole to absorb these wastes. Excess water is removed from the plants through transpiration.
allowing them to diffuse into the water that passes through sponge
The Digestive System. Im In 11th Grade and im taking biology. Lets Say I Know My Stuff!
Contractile vacoule
The excretory system, including kidneys, eliminates waste.
skin
The large intestine gets rid of the solid waste after reabsorbing extra water. The waste is excreted through the rectum in the form of feces.
Urinary - Rids body of nitrogen containing wastes & Conserves body water or eliminates excesses. Includes the Kidneys, bladder, & ureter

the kidney takes out water wastes. The kidney keeps your blood healthy.

Undigested food is eliminated via cytopyge while water and other wastes through contractile vacuole .
It means to retake up. The kidney filters water through itself to remove wastes but reabsorbs most of the water.
