Interbreed
Sagutin niyo rin!
hi my name is noela. I am in the 5th grade. My teacher just taught us about why two similar species cannot have the same niche. The reason is......................................................................................... Two similar species cannot have the same niche because in order to have the same niche those two species would have to have to be identical. But no to species are identical so no to species can have the same niche. in order for it to be identical those two similar species would have to eat the same food, be eaten by the same predators, they would have to live in the same area, they would have to reproduce in the same ways, they would have to grow under the same temperature etc. etc. -noela They would outcompete each other for access to food and resouces.
a group of animals or plants that are very similar are of the same ______- what
If the two organisms are able to interbreed with each other then we know that they are from the same species because the individuals in a species are able to interbreed and produce fertile offsprings.
Genus is a small group including closely related species while class is a large group having related orders and only some similar characters .
Similar appearance similar genetics
An animal species is a group of organisms with similar physical characteristics that can interbreed and produce fertile offspring. Members of the same species share a common gene pool and can mate to produce offspring that can also reproduce.
That classification is known as a subspecies or variety within the same species. Subspecies are populations within a species that have distinct characteristics but can still interbreed and produce viable offspring.
The genus name is the part of a scientific name that is the same for similar species. It represents a group of closely related species that share certain characteristics.
Members of the same species would have the most similar DNA, as they belong to the same species and share a more recent common ancestor compared to members of the same genus or order.
They will belong to either the same family or species.
No, elephants and mice are not the same species. The only thing that is similar between them is the fact they are both mammals.
Yes - IF they're the same species and similar sizes !
No, family and species are not the same. In the classification system, species is the most specific level and represents individual organisms that share similar traits and can interbreed. Family is a higher taxonomic rank that groups similar species together based on a common ancestor.
number of same species within a certain area.
well similar things are things that may seem the same. like...i dont know a wolf and a husky they are similar because they look the same and they can be the same in many different ways but also different in some ways. It can also be something that is alikeor has a connection.
Groups of similar organisms within a species are called populations. Populations consist of individuals of the same species that can interbreed and share a common geographical location.
