I would say the answer is probably false. It is more like DNA indirectly controls protein synthesis. Protein synthesis occurs outside of the nucleus using mRNA, tRNA, and ribosomes primarily.

True or False Do Ribosomes carry out lipid synthesis?

False. Ribosomes do not carry out lipid synthesis. Lipid synthesis occurs in the endoplasmic reticulum and other organelles within the cell. Ribosomes are responsible for protein synthesis.

Is this statement true or false Translation is the stage in protein synthesis during which a complementary mRNA molecule is synthesized from DNA template?

False. Translation is the process in protein synthesis where the mRNA is used as a template to synthesize a protein by assembling amino acids in the correct order. Transcription is the stage where a complementary mRNA molecule is synthesized from a DNA template.

True or false the nucleus is the control center for the cell?

True. The nucleus is considered the control center of the cell because it houses the cell's genetic material (DNA) and directs the cell's activities by regulating gene expression and protein synthesis.

Is it true or false that ribosomes are permeable to the nuclear membrane?

False. Ribosomes are not permeable to the nuclear membrane. They are synthesized in the nucleolus of the nucleus and then transported out through nuclear pores to the cytoplasm where they function in protein synthesis.

Does the production of protein being when ribosomal RNA moves into the cytoplasm?

Protein production begins when messenger RNA (mRNA) is produced in the nucleus and moves into the cytoplasm. The ribosomal RNA (rRNA) helps in the process of protein synthesis by providing a structural and catalytic framework within the ribosome to translate the mRNA into protein.

Are Microfilaments thin strands of the contractile protein myosin?

False.... protein actin

Excess dietary protein is stored as protein in the liver and muscle is this true or false?

False

True or false essential amino acids are vital for protein synthesis?

True.Essential as well as non essential amino acids are vital for protein synthesis. The essential aminoacids are so called because the human body doesn't have the mechanism for the biosynthesis of these amino acids, they should have supplimened with the diet.

Does the nucleolus produce proteins?

yes and no the nucleolus makes the ribosome that make most of the protien inside the cell

True or false each transfer rna molecule picks up one kind of protein?

Each transfer RNA picks up one kind of amino acid, which is one small part (or building block) of a protein.

Cholesterol is essential for the synthesis of steroid hormones?

false

What synthesis of one protein cannot take place without the presence of another protein is this statement true or false and why?

True. Some proteins require the presence of another protein to properly fold, assemble, or function. Examples include chaperone proteins that assist in the folding of other proteins or protein complexes that require multiple subunits to function correctly.
