There are two types of thrombocytes....1.Platelets that is formed y fragmentation of megakaryocytes and 2.Spindle cells that are small oval structures witha central nuclei and appear related to white blood cells. They both help with the process of blood clotting.
Red blood cells (erythrocytes). These cells carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. White blood cells (leukocytes). These cells help fight infections and aid in the immune process. Platelets (thrombocytes). These help in blood clotting.
The blood tissue is conformed of three types of cells: The Red Blood Cells or Erythrocytes, that carry oxygen and collect carbon dioxide; White Blood Cells or Leukocytes, that are part of the immune system and Platelets or Thrombocytes, that are involved in homeostasis processes.
The three types of blood solids are red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). These components play important roles in carrying oxygen, fighting infections, and promoting blood clotting.
Platelets are also known as thrombocytes. They are small, colorless cell fragments in the blood that are essential for blood clotting and wound healing.
Some cells like erythrocytes (red blood cells) and thrombocytes (platelets) don't have DNA because they are made from precurors. Erythrocytes are made a process called erythropoiesis and thrombocytes are made by megakaryocytes.
Red (erythrocytes)White (leukocytes)Platelets (Thrombocytes)
No thrombocytes are platlets used for blood clotting.
thrombocytes
The three types of blood corpuscles are red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). Each plays a specific role in the body's immune response and oxygen transport.
Thrombocytes contain an occasionally active thrombin protein.
Thrombocytes are platelets, derived from fragmentation of megakaryocytes. They are not white blood cells.
Platelets
Platelets are involved in blood clotting. They are also called thrombocytes and come from the bone marrow.
