Wolves have some of the best instincts in the animal kingdom. Their keen sense of smell, sharp hearing, and strong pack mentality help them hunt efficiently and protect their territory. These instincts enable wolves to work together to take down large prey, communicate effectively with each other, and adapt to changes in their environment, ultimately increasing their chances of survival.
The animal that adapts to its environment the best is the chameleon.
Individuals of the genotype Aa survive best in the environment where the abiotic factors and biotic interactions favor heterozygosity. This can occur when there is a balance between selective pressures that benefit both homozygous genotypes AA and aa.
Natural selectionsurvival of the fittest or natural selection.
Darwin proposed that natural selection takes place as individuals best suited to their environment survive and reproduce, passing on their advantageous traits to offspring. This leads to the gradual progression of characteristics that are favorable for survival in a given environment.
"Survival of the fittest" is a concept in evolutionary biology that suggests only the organisms best adapted to their environment will survive and reproduce, passing on their advantageous traits. It does not mean the strongest or most aggressive individuals will always survive, but rather those best suited to their surroundings.

Controlling harmful animals is difficult as they are typically wild and rely on their natural animal instincts to survive. The best kind of control is one that you have over the animal that will keep yourself safe. Animal control has devices that they can use to keep a safe distance and maintain control over the animal.

the ones which have mutations which would help them to survive
Every animal is always evolving, but we can not see it because it take many years. Only in a state of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, is when evolution does not occur. Animals are always are trying to be the most fit for their environment. Also the animal has no say in Natural Selection, the environment will chose the best animal for it's environment. Animals that are maladapted, or not suited for their immediate environment will die. Also an animal can be the best suited for it's environment, but if it can not reproduce there is no way those genes can be passed on to the next generation.

Any animal that is near extinction, or serves humanity (such as a cow... dog) will take a priority due to the situation at hand. Bald eagles for instance are in scarce numbers. Thus they are protected. The cat is overly abundant. We spay and neuter them in order to help protect the cat population from over producing and starving itself out.
