When you have trouble seeing things far away, it is called nearsightedness or myopia. This means that objects in the distance appear blurry or out of focus.
It means seeing at 20 feet what a person with normal vision sees at 20 feet. A person who has 20/40 vision can see at 20 feet what the person with normal vision sees at 40 feet, etc. Some people have better than 20/20 vision.
Fringe vision refers to the peripheral vision outside the central focus area. It is less detailed and clear compared to central vision but still plays a crucial role in detecting movement and providing overall spatial awareness.
I had double vision for 4 weeks then it improved. now after 5 weeks it seems to be "gone" but will come back later in the day as I use both eyes more. this type of double vision is only when using both eyes, covering one eye gives normal vision but of course restricted due to only one eye being used. a doctor told me if the cause is a TIA (mini-stroke) then usually the double vision will go away. so the short answer is if it is going to go away then maybe 2 weeks or more. there are many causes for double vision so medical care is necessary.
Hair in your eyes can obstruct your vision by limiting your field of view or causing blurred vision. It can also be distracting and cause discomfort. It's important to gently move the hair away from your eyes to ensure clear vision.
When you look at things up close, your eyes adjust by changing the shape of the lens to focus. However, when looking at things far away, the lens may not adjust properly, causing blurriness. This is known as nearsightedness, or myopia, where distant objects appear blurry.
Near-sided vision is when you can see things close to you but not far away. You need glasses to see things far away. I know this because I am near-sided. Hope this helps you out.
Hold the object in your hand and remain perfectly still, our vision is based on movement
Farsightedness is when your vision is good at seeing distances, but needs correction to see clearly the things that are close to you. Nearsightedness is when your vision is good at seeing things that are close to you, but needs correction to see clearly the things that are further away.

Because we have binocular vision, when we view something we see it from slightly different angles. This difference is interpreted by the brain through experience and a three dimensional picture is built up.

from looking at the definition of 20/20, 20/10 and 20/30, I think that it means that when looking at an eye chart or anything really, if it's 20 feet away, to you it looks like it's 300 feet away and therefore very blurry, as opposed to someone with 20/20 vision who sees it clearly. I'm speaking from experience as well, since I can't see clearly about a foot away from my face and the last time I checked my vision was 20/325 and 20/350 (I think)
All 2015 means is that a person with 2015 vision can clearly see somthing 20 feet away that most people would need to be no more than 15 feet from. To this end, it is better. A person with 20/100 vision can see something 20 feet away that most people could normally see 100 feet away. --Yes, 20/15 is better vision than 20/20.
