femur, tibia and patella
Palette The knee joint is the junction of three bones-the femur (thigh bone or upper leg bone), the tibia (shin bone or larger bone of the lower leg), and the patella (kneecap). The patella is about 2 to 3 inches wide and 3 to 4 inches long. It sits over the other bones at the front of the knee joint and slides when the leg moves. It protects the knee and gives leverage to muscles. The knee as a whole is more a joint. The knee cap is called a patella (bone).
There are three types of joints in your body. You have fibrous, cartilaginous and synovial types of joints in your body. You have fibrous type of joint between, say the bones on the top of skull, between the teeth and teeth bearing bones and lower end of tibia and fibula bones. You have cartilaginous type of joints between epiphysis and diaphysis of the long bones. You have the same type of joint between the vertebrae and at pubic symphysis. You have synovial type of joints at shoulder and hip joints. Also at elbow and knee joints. All movable joints fall under this category.
Ball and socket joint: Allows for movement in multiple directions, like the shoulder joint. Hinge joint: Allows for movement in one direction, like the elbow joint. Pivot joint: Allows for rotating movement, like the joint between the radius and ulna bones in the forearm.
Ball and socket joint: Found in the hip and shoulder, allowing for a wide range of motion. Hinge joint: Found in the knee and elbow, allowing movement in one plane (like a door hinge). Pivot joint: Found in the neck, allowing for rotation around a central axis. Gliding joint: Found in the hands and feet, allowing for sliding movements between bones.

Its a bicondyloid joint because it has a meniscus in between also referred to as a 3-d joint hope this helps

No there are 2. The leg in anatomy is really only the region between the knee joint and the ankle joint and in this region there is only the Tibia and the Fibula. In the hole of the lower limb i only count 30, The humerus, the patella, the tibia and the fibula, 7 tarsals (talus, calcaneous, navicular, cuboid and 3 cuniforms), 5 metatarsals and 14 phallangeal bones.
shoulder joint is a compound joint bcoz it si made of 3/ more bones and fuction as a single anatomical unit.
Knee replacement also known as arthroplasty. The procedure is considered for people suffering from severe knee injuries or arthritis, replaces a damaged knee joint with an artificial joint. The upper and lower leg is held together at the knee joint. To get more info about the surgery you can refer below at the Resources Websites.
The five joints that act as fulcrums for levers in the body are the neck (atlanto-occipital joint), elbow (humeroulnar joint), hip (coxofemoral joint), knee (tibiofemoral joint), and ankle (talocrural joint). These joints play crucial roles in movement and biomechanics by allowing for leverage and force generation.

The leg has a joint at the knee, one at the hip, and one at the ankle. So each leg has 3.
