Merkel cells compose about 8% of the epidermal cells. These specialized cells are found in the deepest part of the epidermis and are involved in the sensation of touch.
An epidermal cell is a cell that is part of the outer layer of an organism. For example, in humans, skin cells are epidermal. Leaves on plants have epidermal layers on the top and bottom of the leaf.
The folds on epidermal cells, called microvilli, increase the cell's surface area for absorption and secretion. This increased surface area allows for more efficient exchange of molecules such as nutrients and waste products with the external environment.
The palisade layer in plant leaves is responsible for carrying out photosynthesis by containing chloroplasts that capture sunlight and convert it into energy. It is located below the upper epidermis and consists of tightly packed and vertically arranged cells to maximize light absorption.
the chloroplasts aren't a part of the actual leaf. they are individual organelles found in the cytoplasm of a cell.
In the palisade cells, spongy cells, and guard cells.

yes
The blade is said to be the main part of a leaf. Photosynthesis occurs in the blade. The leaf blade is also known as the lamina.
PAlisade mesophyll cells contain chlorophyll in abundance. The are cells that take part in photosynthesis

Langerhans cells are epidermal cells that play a key role in the immune response by capturing and presenting antigens to immune cells. They are part of the skin's immune system and help in defending against pathogens.
The epidermal part of the body - is simply the skin - or epidermis !

The main function of the palisade cell if for photosynthesis because it has alot of chloroplact so it is useless if it is found in the roots where it has no job there. Palisade cells are found on the top part of the leaf to get as much sunlight as possible.
The cells on the epidermis have definite life cycle. Each epidermal cell begins life deep in the epidermis, where cells divide to form new cells. The new cells gradually mature and move upwards in the epidermis as new cells form beneath them. After about two weeks, the cells die and become part of the surface layer of the epidermis. Hope this helps!!
