Here are some facts: Ribosomes are small organelles found in the cells of all life forms. They are quite small, only AAA few hundred nanometres across. It has been theorized that ribosomes were once independent life forms, reproducing on their own, until other chemicals such as carbohydrates and DNA were brought into the fold at AAA later time. Ribosomes are composed of rRNA and other proteins. Their main function is to produce a variety of proteins from simple genetic instructions which propagate outwards from the cellular nucleolus in the form of messenger RNA. Ribosomes float in the cytoplasm of a cell or bind to the endoplasmic reticulum, ribbon like structures found inside of the cell. quick facts(written by myself) ¢Ribosome's are the workbenches where proteins get manufactured
¢Ribosome composes 25% of cell mass
¢ They get their name from their size.
¢A bacterial cell contains a few thousands of ribosome's, although a human cell has a few million
¢Ribosome's are made up of two subunits, the large and small subunit.
¢When the two units are docked together with a special information unit called messenger RNA, they make proteins
Ribosomes are smaller in prokaryotes because they have different sizes and structures compared to eukaryotic ribosomes. Prokaryotic ribosomes (70S) consist of a small 30S subunit and a large 50S subunit, while eukaryotic ribosomes (80S) have a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Additionally, the smaller size of prokaryotic ribosomes allows them to be more efficient in protein synthesis.
Protein synthesis occurs at ribosomes, which can be found in the cytoplasm of a cell. In eukaryotic cells, proteins can also be synthesized on ribosomes located on the rough endoplasmic reticulum.

Ribosomes
There are two main types of ribosomes in cells: free ribosomes, which are found floating in the cytoplasm, and bound ribosomes, which are attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. Both types are responsible for protein synthesis within the cell.
this is not an animal cell it is a biographice get your facts right
They have own DNA.They are self replicating. Also have 70s ribosomes
Well, rough endoplasmic reticulum (ER) contains ribosomes. Also, proteins synthesized on these ribosomes are collected in the ER for transport throughout the cell.Sources - My textbook and cellsalive.com

Ribosomes are the organelles that read coded genetic messages. Ribosomes can be found in all living cells.
Ribosomes are organelles. All cells have ribosomes.
