The Bull Pine otherwise known as the Western Yellow Pine or Ponderosa Pine has the latin name Pinus ponderosa.This is neither an improvement nor a criticism but I have never heard of a Bull Pine or a Ponderosa Pine tho you are spot on with Western Yellow Pine.
