The three main hypotheses about the origin of life on Earth are: 1) Abiogenesis, which suggests life originated from non-living matter through chemical processes; 2) Extraterrestrial origin, proposing that life arrived on Earth from elsewhere in the universe, such as through meteorite impacts carrying organic molecules; and 3) Panspermia, the idea that life exists throughout the universe and can be propagated through space dust, allowing it to land on suitable planets like Earth and develop further.
Oparin and Haldane made their own theory about the heterotroph hypothesis and they came up with several points: 1. There had to be a supply of organic molecules produced by a non-biological process 2. They had to be assembled into polymers like proteins and nucleic acids. 3. Those polymers had to be assembled into a self-replicating system.
A hypothesis to prove that eating garlic prevents colds could be: "Consuming garlic daily for a period of 3 months will result in fewer instances of cold symptoms compared to those who do not consume garlic." This hypothesis suggests that the regular intake of garlic may boost the immune system and reduce the likelihood of catching a cold.
To be of any use to science, a hypothesis must be able to be tested. For instance, I might have a hypothesis that there is a civilization of giant butterfly people living in another galaxy. If I have no way to test this idea, then it really isn't a hypothesis. It would just be a wild guess.

Thee are three theories: 1) spin-off:when Earth was young and still cooling, a piece of Earth broke off at the eqautor while Earth was spinning rapidly 2)Capture-Earth captures a passing moon 3)Collision- A planet (orpheus) collided with Earth, creating fragments. The fragements came back together creating the new Earth with a moon. This is the accepted theory.

It can be proven, you have to do at least 3 experiments to prove your hypothesis.
a hypothesis is only useful if u have something to test it on. : ) <3

The 3 branches of science are Physical, Earth and Life Science. Physical Science is about the study of non-living systems, Earth Science is about scientific terms related to planet Earth and Life science is about the study of living things.
