Most land plants and trees have strong, woody stems to hold up their branches and leaves to get sufficient sunlight. Some plants however have soft, non-woody stems and cannot grow upright. So they need to have special adaptations to get their leaves in the best position to obtain sunlight. Such plant can be grouped as "creepers" or "climbers."
CREEPERS:Creepers grow horizontally on the ground. Their shoots spread out on all sides of the main stem. Carpet grass and minosa are examples of creepers.
CLIMBERS:Climbers climb onto supports such as walls, fences or other plants that have strong stems. Some climbers have tendrils or clasping roots to attach themselves to the supports.

it is a creeper because it ha a woody stem. also, rose is a creeper I think.

Creepers ")
Direct Sunlight, but they can survive in limited with an adaptation called geotropism where the plant grows towards the light
No vascular system so they can receive the most amount of sunlight.
They have to have sunlight and water in order to live in temperate biomes...
it's adaptation is to climb on sticks or anything that it can climb on to get enough sunlight.
Vines are invasive as an adaptation because the plant is hardy designed to take over in order to thrive. The major adaptation of the vine is it grows in an upward direction to have access to sunlight in order for it to make food for itself.
