Photosynthesis is defined as conversion of light energy to chemical energy by the sunlight and in the presance of chlorophyll.

The process of photosynthesis occur as follows:-

6CO2 + 12H2O ----> C6H12O6 + 6H20 + 6O2

here CO2 - Carbon dioxide, H2O - Water, C6H12O6 - Glucose, O2 - Oxygen

Henge the reactants are Carbon dioxide (CO2) & Water (H2O)

Note :- Reactants are substances which takes part in chemical reaction. They are always written on Left Hand Side (L.H.S)

Is mitochondrion a participant in photosynthesis?

It takes the products of photosynthesis and uses cellular respiration to produce ATP, but it does not take part in the actual reactions of photosynthesis. The mitochondrion can, however, give carbon dioxide to the chloroplasts, so it is able to give reactants to the process.

Which process uses chloroplasts in eukaryotes?

The process known as Photosynthesis.

What process uses carbon dioxide?

Photosynthesis

Which process uses the Calvin cycle?

Photosynthesis

The process by which a cell captures the energy in sunlight and uses it to make food is called?

This process is known as photosynthesis.

Why oxygen important for photosynthesis?

It's a by-product of photosynthesis. The process uses Carbon Dioxide.

What uses energy from sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose through the process of photosynthesis?

Cellular respiration.

What product does the plant produce in the photosynthesis process that the plant uses?

In the photosynthesis process, water combines with CO2 to create sugars

Why can photosynthesis and respiration be considered reverse process?

Photosynthesis (water + carbon dioxide + sunlight ---> oxygen + sugar) and respiration (oxygen + sugar ---> water + carbon dioxide) are considered reverse processes because the reactants for photosynthesis are the products of respiration and the reactants for respiration are the products of photosynthesis.

What is the chemical process that uses light to process carbon dioxde in plants?

This process is called photosynthesis.

Is photosynthesis matter or energy?

Neither-Photosynthesis is the process that a plant uses to make its food, which is glucose, that is made into energy. photosynthesis uses sunlight and carbon dioxide, and makes the products:glucose (C6H12O6 ) and oxygen.

Which process in the leaf uses o2 and produces co2?
