If your looking for the disease that kills the most people it would be Lower Respiratory Infections but I compiled a list of diseases that will most likely kill you if you get them, 1). HIV/AIDS (It might not kill you directly but it might as well, easy to contract and kills about 2 million people every year)

). Ebola (90 percent fatality rate, transmitted by physical contact with body fluids like blood and saliva)

). malaria (A person dies from Malaria every 30 seconds, with treatment a patient can expect full recovery but there is no vaccine)

). MRSA and VRSA (These two are forms of a bacteria commonly found in the human nose that has developed resistance the antibiotics used to treat it, kills more people than AIDS and Malaria combined mostly in hospitals)

). Anthrax (Actually there are three kinds, cutaneous (on the skin) which won't kill you but hurt like hell, gastrointestinal which had a 60 percent FR and respiratory which has a 97 percent FR. You can get anthrax from a biological attack (highly unlikely) or from infected animal products which get it from the soil (also unlikely))

). Cholera (Caused by eating or drinking thinks contaminated with the bacteria can kill in 3-18 hours without treatment)

). Creutzfeldt Jakobs Disease (Also know as Mad Cow Disease, it is an incurable and fatal brain disease but to get the disease you have to eat and infected cow or human)

). H5N1 aka Bird Flu (This type of flu unlike H1N1 is a serious issue. It spreads slow and is often fatal with no know highly effective cures or vaccine)

). SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome has a 70 percent fatality rate and the highest fatality rate in victims over 65 however treatment for SARS can cause more problems than the disease itself)

). Rabies (Treatment after exposure to rabies is very successful, even washing a bite wound from a rabid animal for 5 minutes with soap and water will effectively reduce your risk. It's only a problem if you don't get treated within the first 10 days, than it is 100 percent fatal)

). Chagas Disease (Called the AIDS of America this disease is caused by a parasite transmitted by the bit of a kissing bug. Symptoms usual start a week after the bite then disappear for 10-20 years when it reaches the chronic stage and causes your heart and intestines to swell and possibly burst)
