Tendons
The muscles of the body attach to bones via tendons. Different muscles attach to different bones to create movement at various joints in the body. For example, the biceps muscle attaches to the radius bone in the forearm, while the quadriceps muscle group attaches to the femur bone in the thigh.

The two muscles inserted in or on the hyoid bone of a cat are the geniohyoideus muscle and the mylohyoideus muscle. The geniohyoideus muscle inserts onto the hyoid bone, while the mylohyoideus muscle attaches to the body of the hyoid bone.
The triceps attaches to the high end of your arm and it also attaches below the elbow. The triceps that attach to the bones are called tendons, which are strong, muscular fiber thins that help support the muscles to the bones.
