the most common is the kidney but the heart is commonly transplanted too. the heart can also be transplated because someone who is dead they can conserve the heart and be put into someone else's body

The commonly performed transplants are the ones of life-saving organs, such as lungs, heart, kidney, liver, pancreas.
The less commonly performed transplants are the ones that can dramatically improve the quality of life for patients (but are not requried for "life" as such). These are all rarely done, but are considered successful : stomach, bladder, and a womb with ovaries (however the issue with the latter is that, with transplanted ovaries the female recipient will be giving birth to what are genetically the donors children).
Some other transplants have been performed but proven to be unsuccessful. This generally includes limb transplants; the outcome is usually organ rejection, or the patient not being psychologically comfortable using a transplanted limb. (Due to loss of sensation in the transplanted limb (nerve damage occurs during the surgery; it's inevitable), the limb can be difficult to move and lacks sensation. Clearly, this hinders adaptation to using the limb if it cannot be felt and is difficult to move.) Most patients who had a transplanted limb decided that they would prefer it removed.
This case also applies to many types of transplant that are "viewable" outside the body - arm, leg and male genitalia transplants. Generally the patient does not adapt psychologically, meaning that the graft has to be removed. The patients typically have the experience of the graft "not belonging to them".
However, the exception to this appears to be face transplants. So far, these do seem to benefit the life of the patients (as opposed to limb transplants, which just seem to hinder patients). This may be because the facial grafts that the patients receive are a dramatic improvement on what they had, both functionally and aesthetically (with a lost limb, you can live without it quite successfully, however with a non-functional face it is quite different). Although a face transplant is clearly external, because it is beneficial to the quality of life of the patient, it aids psychological adaptation.
You can donate any organs that are of use and in working order such as liver, kidney(s), lung(s), eye(s), heart, skin (yes skin is an organ - actually your bodys' largest organ) ....
the organs you can transplant is any organ you have two of or you can live with out
Some organs like heart, liver, kidneys. We can't do them all yet & have been largely unsuccessful with limbs due to rejection problems that we need to overcome.
