Extreme weather conditions make you cold
Extreme cold actually is lack of heat. Just as black is actually the absence of all color. earth releases it's heat back to space by actually reflecting excess lights from the sun, and turning one side of earth's face towards the sun while the other half turns away from it. Revolution also helps since there are times that earth is farther away from the sun. so basically, the universe is cold and we get our heat from the sun. Without it, we experience extreme cold. as to why the earth's polar caps are colder than other places on earth, it is because earth's axis is slightly angled in relation to its position with the sun, thus as it revolves around it, polar caps experience almost 3 to 5 months of days with the sun and the, rest without the sun even shining. this effect gave the polar caps extreme cold weather. And also white snow reflects 99 percent of light. Extreme cold causes solid to loose it's malleability or elasticity making it brittle. Liquid turns to solid and gas turns to liquid. Living things die.

Poor time management causes stress because a person is left to do all of their work at the last moment. This would not be an issue if the work was spread out over an extended period of time.
