This corresponds with diastolic (atrial contraction) and (ventricular contraction) systolic blood pressure. The pulse that is felt radially on the arm corresponds with the systolic blood pressure. If the pulse can be felt radially, than the blood pressure is at least 90 mm Hg. Normal BP for an adult is 120/70.
