If a patient starts to suffer from binocular double vision, then there is a high probability that the patient is suffering from the disease. The causes for it could be :
1. Thyroid disease which which affects the external eye muscles.
2. Arteries disease which supply blood to the parts of brain.
3. Aneurysm, bulging of the arteries in the brain.
4. Stroke
5. Blood starts to clot behind the eye which can prevent normal movement of the eyes.
6. Brain Tumor or cancer behind the eyes which can distort the image produced by the eye.
