Just got back from the optometrist. He dialated my pupils with drops and I look scary.

Dilated pupils refer to pupils that are abnormally large. This can be caused by various factors such as low lighting conditions, drug use, or medical conditions like eye trauma or certain neurological conditions.
Pinned pupils, also known as miosis, refer to a condition where the pupils of the eyes constrict and become smaller than normal. This can be caused by various factors such as drug use, certain medical conditions, or neurological issues. Pinned pupils can indicate a potential problem with the autonomic nervous system or a reaction to substances that affect the central nervous system.
My experience is that it constricts them, making your pupils look like pin dots.
In a chromosome, a centromere is a constricted region with attachment sites for microtubules.
When your pupils appear small, it is called pinpoint pupils. This can be a sign of opioid drug use, brain injury, or a reaction to certain medications. It is important to seek medical attention if you notice this symptom.
The opposite of dilated pupils is constricted pupils.
no, uppers, acid & ecstacy will dialate your pupils. downers, like heroin and oxy's will constrict "pinpoint" your pupils
no
yes, as will all opioid medications and/or substances
No, historically it's the exact opposite, it causes dilation of the pupils, particularly in larger than therapeutic doses. If you're noticing constricted pupils despite being on this medication, I would recommend notifying your doctor immediately as there may be another cause.
If the bearded dragon is in a dark area, yes. In bright light the pupils should be constricted.
Miotic in medical term means with constricted pupils.
Non-responsive pupils are often a sign of brain trauma, and are usually a sign of a concussion.

Yes they do. You will look like a cartoon character.
It depends quite heavily on ones tolerance to the drug. Pupils will generally stay constricted for the duration of the euphoric experience. Depending on quantity and quality of the heroin, and as I said the higher a person's tolerance, the faster they come down which is when pupils will return to normal size.
I am an adult and I started to take Ritalin 4 days ago. Usually I have dilated pupil, but with Ritalin they are quite constricted. I looked around in my text books and it is supposed to be the opposite to pupil are supposed to be more dilated. I also took effexor last month and my pupils were extra dilated (almost completely black). Yep I am not a professional, but it is very strange. Nevertheless even if with Ritalin my pupils are constricted my eye are very sensitive to light. My own theory will be that in some person Ritalin will increase the eye sensibility to light and than limit the amount by closing the pupil. Makes sense for me but I will still look around.
