I had the same problem but i found out that a gene is a small segment of a DNA strand. I'm sorry i don't know how long the gene segment is but DNA is made up of many genes segments put together.
An organism looks like the result of its genes because genes contain the instructions for building and maintaining the organism's physical characteristics, such as its appearance, traits, and behaviors. These genetic instructions are expressed through the process of development, where genes control the growth and differentiation of cells to produce the observable traits of the organism. Each organism's unique combination of genes determines its specific features and overall appearance.
Genes alter our looks and physique, not every sibling has the same genes and therefore they look different. Each sibling has a different combanation of genes some from the father and some form the mother but they wont look the same because unless they are identical twins, thay each have unique combination of alleles.
Genes provide the instructions for building proteins that determine the traits offspring inherit from their parents. Offspring inherit a combination of genes from both parents, which contribute to their physical characteristics, such as eye color, height, and hair texture. Genes are passed down through generations, allowing for the transmission of hereditary traits.
predict what a person would or could look like inside and out,and genes can tell a cell how to make proteins. Roughly speaking, each gene is a set of instructions for making one specific protein.
Siblings share genes inherited from their parents, which can result in physical similarities such as facial features, hair color, and height. These shared genes contribute to siblings looking alike to some extent.
genes
They can, but they can not be exactly like him. They have different genes and DNA. But they can look like him.
it best know someone genes they have is how they look and how act.. sometimes peoplentell me i look like my mom but act like my dad..
No, they do not check genes of those nature when donating sperm.
genes now don't ask how you get those
Yes. Everything that you are and what you look like are coded in the DNA in your genes. The genes are sections of DNA which are the codes that make you.
You may look like your grandfather for many different reasons. You may look like your grandfather because you have some of the same genes as him. Hope this helps!
chromosomes are found inside your nucleus. Chromosomes contain genes that have your DNA in them. Your genes decide who you are and what you look like
Genes are from half your mother anf father the function of the genes are to make you the way you are like eys colour and hair and much more so if we didn't have genes we would not look like the way we do now
he look like her neighbour becoz somehow she physically intimate wid him neighbour this is due to transfer of genes .it is not sure but their is possibilities..
cuz they are born with more of their father's genes but happened to be female
The people who will look most like you share the same genes as you. That is, your family! Look around at your siblings, parents and cousins and chances are one of them looks like you.
