Worms break up the ground which is very helpful if you are a grower of food or plants/flower grower, the ground would remain very hard making it difficult to feed plants or for plants to absorb water.
The world would probably survive, but many forms of life would be adversely affected without the worms. They are an important and overlooked link in the food chain. Also, earthworms till the soil and help plants to grow.
They need food and soil
by going underground
Yes Because the number of worms remained constant in bin 1
If I am right, adaptation is something we need to survive on. So we do not need to survive on our eye color
Worms help enrich and aerate the soil, and therefore are very beneficial to plant root systems.
You must need life jacket in order to survive on a boat or ship.
yes worms do like light they need it to live but they only need it for about 5 mins for the day to survive
so they can live up to there botties
worms
Most worms will survive in sand, but not all.
by going underground
This will depend on the temperature of the compost. Most worms will not survive freezing, however some may burrow into the compost or cocoon themselves and survive, some will even go into a form of hibernation. It is best to keep the worms and compost somewhere sheltered to prevent the worms from dying.
worms need to stay in a cold but moisturised environment as they need water to survive(then again, who doesn't?). Soil or compost would be the best place for them as they can eat and excrete there, producing a more fertile soil. Do not leave worms without water as their skin will become too dry and they will die.
inch worms need more than leaves to survive. they need sticks, moisture, and soil. they need sticks so that they can make their cacoon on it. they need moisture so they can drink. finally they need soil so they can make little tunnels!
Temperate
It does not. It does not have predators in the deep sea.
Fish and leaches are it's favorite, but they also enjoy slugs, nails, and worms. As they get bigger they will start to eat bigger pray such as mice, rodents, and small birds.
worms can't survive in water so they dig up from the ground that's where you catch them for fishing
