GHOSTBUSTERS!
The brain is constantly working even if a person is in a coma. The only reason this would change is because the person has gone brain dead and the brain is no longer producing waves of activity.
Actually, no. You can die WHILE you're in a coma -- but you may also recover completely.A coma is "simply" an unresponsive, unconscious state of indeterminate period. There are a lot of unknowns in this question (how old is the person; what was their health prior to entering the coma; was there a likely cause; etc). A person may or may not "come out" of a coma (i.e., become responsive and conscious again) -- but I believe (and I'm not a doctor, so I defer to medical opinion) that the longer a person is in a coma, the less likely that they will leave that state, or that they will be brain-damaged when they do.But if you're asking about someone you know or love, please don't ask here. Talk to a medical professional who knows all the details of the case.
i did this and i feel in to a coma for 2 weeks it, felt like 10 seconds though, ok so i first i tied ruberband in both of my Testicles then i let me Bowling ball drop in my forehead, i let it drop from like 2 feet away from my face then boom, i blacked out felt like 10 secods then i woke up and i was in the hospital and the doctor said i was in here for 2 weeks! crazyyy yay and it was the begging of summer vacation so i was happy!
You can not feed some one with out feeding tube, properly placed, if he is in coma. Such attempts has caused innumerable deaths in past and present also. Very little amount of water can kill the patient by choking him, if he is unconscious for any reason.
During a coma, the body's normal hormonal cycles, including the menstrual cycle, may be disrupted. Women in a coma may not experience their period due to the altered state of consciousness and the body's reduced functioning. However, it is important to note that each case is unique, and some women may still experience menstrual bleeding while in a coma, especially if they are in a lighter state of unconsciousness.
Being out of coma entirely depends on the management of the doctor and on the responses of the patient's body. The doctors may forsee but not be intirely sure how long a person may be in coma or if he or she will be awake. This depends on the body and the person.
do you mean asleep or in a coma or maybe unconsious
It might be any of the following: dead; asleep; in coma.
Yes - if the brain feels the need to shut down again - it's possible.
It depends on why the infant is in a coma. there a several illnesses that can put someone in a coma.

no, they can't, unless you go into diabetic coma by choking on it. This is the case for everything. You can even choke and go into a diabetic coma
If someone is in a coma they are unconcious and do not respond to voices, sounds or any activitie around them.He is still alive but their brain is working at it's lowest standard/stage of alertness. If you shake someone and their in a coma then they do not wake up like if you shake someone that's asleep.
If someone is in a coma, he is unconscious and will not respond to voices, other sounds, or any sort of activity going on around him. He is still alive, but his brain is functioning at its lowest stage of alertness. You can't shake and wake up someone who is in a coma like you can to someone who has just fallen asleep. Usually, a coma does not last more than a few weeks. Sometimes, however, a person stays in a coma for a long time - even years - and will be able to do very little except breathe on his own. Most people do come out of comas, however. Some of them are able to return to the normal lives they had before they got sick. On TV, someone in a coma usually wakes up right away, looks around, and is able to think and talk normally. But in real life, this rarely happens. When a person comes out of a coma, he will often be confused and can only slowly respond to what's going on around him. It will take time for him to start feeling better. Over time and with the help of therapists, however, many people who have been in a coma can make a lot of progress. They may not be exactly like they were before the coma, but they can do a lot of things and enjoy life with their family and friends.
A comma is typically used to separate items in a list or to separate clauses in a sentence. It should be placed where a natural pause occurs in speech or where clarity is needed in the sentence structure.
