Animal cells have all the typical organelles of a eukaryote cell; A membrane bound nucleus, mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, ribosomes, etc.- but what separates an animal cell from a plant cell is that an animal cell has no cell wall.

It does, however, have a phospholipid bi-layer.
